Meet The Team

Meet Matt

Founder

With over 25 years’ experience in community sport, Matt has dedicated his career to inspiring people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the power of sport. From coaching in primary schools to supporting colleges, universities, and specialist education settings, Matt has worked across every level of the sporting pathway.

His background in Rugby Union is particularly impressive: more than 450 first-class appearances over a 20-year career, alongside coaching involvement with national squads and international touring teams. This wealth of experience has shaped not only Matt’s deep understanding of sport at a professional level but also his commitment to making it accessible for everyone.

What drives Matt most is the belief that sport has the ability to change lives — building confidence, resilience, and community. He’s passionate about creating opportunities for others to experience the same joy, growth, and lifelong benefits that sport has given him. As he often says: “The benefits are huge!”
